Overview

My work involved designing user-centered digital products, conducting user research, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business and user goals. From July to August 2018, I was responsible and worked independently on the new design of the website.

The NetEase Cloud website serves as the front-end page for our users. It caters to the development requirements of our business and the development strategy for the NetEase Cloud brand. Cloud computing delivers on-demand resources, such as servers, databases, storage, platforms, infrastructure, applications, and more, over the Internet. The website also fulfills the requirements of our marketing department.

Business Goal

Cloud computing offers a pay-as-you-go service, which means you only pay for what you need. It can help improve website quality and assist users in quickly selecting the appropriate cloud computing product for their needs. Additionally, it can increase the number of page views and unique visitors to a website.

How to measure the success?

Adopting a holistic approach when analyzing website traffic is crucial, considering the number of page views, unique visitors (UV), independent IP addresses, and user workflow. To determine whether users’ interaction with the console motivates purchasing products, it is essential to scrutinize the user’s journey through the platform. Businesses can better understand their customers’ behavior and optimize their online strategy by assessing these factors.
